Amex Shop Small Grants Program

Shop Small is back for its 14th year, and this year American Express is helping small businesses grow, innovate and support their local communities through the Amex Shop Small Grants program – with up to $2 million in grants available.

Applications are now open – eligible small business owners can apply for a chance to receive a $20,000 grant, with up to 100 grants available nationwide.

Grant Details

Grant Amount: AUD $20,000 inclusive of any applicable GST per grant
Grants Available: Up to 100
Project Delivery Period: November 2026 – April 2027 (6 months)

Payment Structure: 100% of grant funding paid to award recipients upon execution of a Grant Agreement and completion of onboarding requirements

Assessment Period: September – October 2026
Recipients Notified: October – November 2026
