Glicks has been a familiar presence on Carlisle Street since 1968, and it’s easy to see why Grace calls it one of Melbourne’s old-school bakeries. The bagels are still boiled the traditional way, which is what gives them their chewy texture and golden crust. Alongside the bagels, the bakery turns out fresh bread and pastries daily.
