This December, Carlisle Street transforms into a festive village bursting with colour, culture and Christmas cheer. Our traders, performers, families, and neighbours come together to celebrate the season in a way that is uniquely “Carlisle”—warm, quirky, welcoming, and full of character.
Across three festive Saturdays, the street will come alive with music, entertainment, giveaways, decorations, photo moments, and Christmas-themed fun for all ages.
Whether you’re visiting for a meal, grabbing a gift, bringing the family out for some festive magic, or simply strolling the street, Christmas on Carlisle Street promises plenty of reasons to smile.

Saturday 6th, 13th & 20th December — 1:45pm to 2:45pm
Keep your eyes peeled — Santa is taking over Carlisle Street!
He’ll be joined by a joyful trio of professional a cappella carollers, filling the precinct with beautiful harmonies and surprise pop-up performances. Together, they’ll roam the full length of the street, stopping at key locations to perform 2–3 songs at a time.

Free family photos all weekend long
Look out for our colourful Santa Selfie Board, designed especially for Carlisle Street. With a festive backdrop on one side and a selfie-friendly frame on the other, it’s the perfect spot to capture your Christmas moments.
