Jewish Festival of Succot 2025
Share
Join us this week at 334 Carlisle Street as we celebrate the Festival of Sukkot, a Jewish tradition commemorating the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. During the festival, participants build temporary huts called sukkahs, with palm leaves as the roof, symbolizing the temporary shelters used during their journey.
The sukkah at 334 Carlisle Street will be open for festivities on Thursday from 1pm to 4pm, featuring live klezmer music by Adam Starr and other celebratory activities. We’ll also be celebrating on Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. All community members are welcome to join in this meaningful cultural event!
